So, it's Friday, and I doubt anyone is around here, as you're either off boycotting or gallivanting for your long weekend. But I am here, and if anyone wants to keep me company, I've opened up this entry for anonymous and non-anonymous commenting, as the spirit may move you. What are you up? Got anything planned? Fantasizing about something? Want to gripe about something?

I'm home alone until Sunday, and my big plan for the weekend involves disgusting amounts of junk food and other hallmarks of absolute sloth.

Sloth may in fact be my favorite Deadly Sin. Lust is fun too, though ...

That sounds nice and relaxing. Have you seen this shirt? I'm always a bit tempted by it.

And both of those sins sound pretty good...

I'd like to gripe about:

1. the fact that we're having a snowstorm on the second day of Spring.
2. my migraine.
3. death. (My beloved orange kitty, Ben, died on Wednesday.)

Other than those, though, all's fine with me! ;-)

Aw, I'm so sorry about the kitty. And I hope you feel better!

Spring hasn't gotten here yet, either, I emphathize.

Thanks.

I took a migraine drug a little while ago -- I'll be feeling better soon.

At least the new snow is prettier than what we've had for the past couple of weeks -- very ugly, old, gradually thawing snow/ice mixed with dirt and trash.

Gripe gripe...
I just plugged in my new hair dryer, and it doesn't work. The on button has no effect. My hair now looks worse then normal.

Have you tried the reset button?

Yup. I guess when you buy the cheapest dryer at Target, this sort of thing can happen. But anyways, today is super windy so my hair was going to get messed up anyways.

Argh, that sucks. But at least the wind will dry your hair!

And it did. That was a very cold 2 hours. The best part was when we were walking back and my nose started to bleed. FUN!

That's no good. Could you make your own?

Or you could just substitute with lots of alcohol. That would work as well.

I have decided I want to have a convertible sports car but one that has practical space and you can fit people into the back. They'll be a little squished but they'll fit. The thing is I know nothing about sports cars so I don't know where to begin looking. Also this is all in my head because I can't afford one. I think I am a little restless at the moment or something.

Hee, you've got spring fever. Wanting to drive around in the sun and everything and not be cooped up wherever you are.

I don't know anything about sports cars either--heck, I don't know anything about cars!

I know. It's all about Fire - bad, environmentally sound, low emissions, hybrid, convertible sports car - pretty! I'm not even sure environmentally sound, low emissions hybrid convertible sports cars exist! And where would you start looking for that if it wasn't a fantasy and you suddenly discovered a long-lost relative had died and left you their fortune or something?
