I realized when I got to work this morning that I couldn't buy myself coffee as a treat for actually having been on time, despite having been basically on vacation for a week - because I'd left my wallet and phone at home. Oops.
I did, however, coax my ginormous handbag to cough up $1.50 which totally bought me a $1.20 cup of coffee downstairs. It did not, however, cover the fact that I had been planning on buying lunch today, so I had to eat my emergency, shelf-stable-lunch instead.
